About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-regarded financial advisory firm in the heart of Manchester. This role offers the chance to develop your career within a growing, dynamic team, where you'll contribute to delivering exceptional financial advice and support to clients across the UK.
In this office-based role, you'll be part of a dedicated Paraplanning team, where you'll work closely with advisers to provide high-quality research, analysis, and suitability reports, predominantly relating to pensions and investments. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of Paraplanning experience, with a preference for expertise in pensions and pension switching.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting research related to pensions and investments and preparing suitability reports.
- Collaborating with the New Business/Wealth Management advisers to ensure excellent client outcomes.
- Actively contributing to process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Undertaking continuous professional development (CPD) to stay up to date with industry changes.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of Paraplanning experience, preferably within pensions or pension switching.
- Experience within a financial advisory firm is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing workloads effectively.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, compliant financial reports.
- Proficiency in financial planning software (Intelligent Office, Dynamic Planner, Genovo, Selectapension is desirable).
- A proactive approach to work and a willingness to develop and grow in the role.
- Working towards or holding a Diploma in Financial Planning.
