Job Specification: Quantity Surveyor (PQS)
Location: Warrington

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor (PQS) to join our growing team in Warrington. This role is critical to the successful delivery of our retail projects, including high-profile clients such as PureGym, Ikea, and Co-Ops. The ideal candidate will be proactive, hands-on, and ready to take on a range of Quantity Surveying responsibilities from procurement to final account completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Procurement: Manage the procurement of subcontractors and materials required for various projects, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
Site Management: Operate across various UK sites, attending meetings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring smooth operational flow.
Final Accounts: Prepare and complete final accounts, ensuring all financial documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
Budget Setting: Assist in budget setting for projects, monitoring costs and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring all Quantity Surveying duties are effectively managed.
Small Works Pricing: Undertake pricing for minor works and variations as needed, collaborating closely with the head office estimating team.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the commercial team, providing support and insights to foster team growth and efficiency.
Leadership Opportunities: Potential to lead the commercial team in the mid to long term as the Warrington office expands.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, preferably within a main contracting environment specializing in retail projects.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective team collaboration.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to get stuck in and solve challenges as they arise.
