Registered Manager - Children's Home
Location: Manchester, M13
Salary: £60,000 per annum + Bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week
Our client, located in the M13 area of Greater Manchester, is looking for a passionate and experienced Residential Manager to oversee the operation of a one-bedded children's home for young people with emotional and behavioural disorders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in residential care, a commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment, and the leadership skills needed to manage staff, training, and development.

Registered Manager Responsibilities:
Uphold a professional approach, ensuring sensitivity, dignity, and respect for children, staff, other professionals, and service users.
Maintain and promote the highest standards of care and regularly review care plans for each young person.
Oversee the development of care plans that meet the child's individual needs-be it in care, education, social, emotional, therapeutic, or health.
Foster feedback from young people about the quality of care provided.
Lead the development of individual and team learning plans, aligned with both professional and organizational needs.
Ensure that all policies and procedures regarding children, staff, and visitors are adhered to, including maintaining confidentiality.
Registered Manager Requirements:
Level 5 Management qualification (or working towards it) is essential.
Ability to complete the Ofsted Registration Process.
In-depth knowledge of childcare legislation and safeguarding practices.
Experience in supporting children and young people with complex needs.
Strong ability to manage challenging behavior.
2 years' recent experience in a residential care setting with children.
At least 2 years' experience in a management role within residential care.
