Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team in Huddersfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive quotes, including take-offs and schedules of works, to support our high-end fit out projects.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for fit out projects in the Bar & Leisure sector.
Conduct take-offs from drawings and specifications to quantify materials and labor required.
Develop and maintain comprehensive schedules of works for various projects.
Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to identify potential issues and solutions.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and ensure competitive pricing.
Maintain a database of cost information to improve accuracy of future estimates.
Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost management and budgeting.
Ensure all estimates comply with company policies and industry standards.

Requirements
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably within the Bar & Leisure or retail fit out sectors.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
A relevant degree or qualification in construction, or a related field is desirable.
